Frequently Asked Questions
What is your adoption process?
Pricing, Deposits & Application
What is included in your puppy package?
Thank you for considering adoption! Completing the Puppy Application doesn't guarantee a puppy. I assess each application to ensure it aligns with our puppy's needs as well as the families wants. After you've submitted the application, I'll reach out via text to discuss your interest, answer any questions, and start the adoption process. Deposits are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, determining the order of puppy selection. Please note, all deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another litter, although prices may differ. Accepted payment methods for deposits include cash, Zelle, or Venmo. If you're not quite ready to commit, no problem at all. Feel free to reach out when you're prepared. While we aim to limit visits for the puppies' well-being, arrangements can be made for FaceTime or scheduled in-person visits if necessary. Once the puppies reach six weeks of age, you're welcome to visit our home to choose your puppy. If you're unable to visit in person, we're happy to arrange a FaceTime or video call to facilitate the selection process remotely. Please keep us informed of any changes in your plans. Maintaining accurate records is important to us. As for predicting exact timelines, it's a bit tricky due to the variability of live animals and their hormonal cycles. We'll do our best, but there may be some uncertainty regarding when the Mama will go into heat, conceive, and deliver, as well as the size of the litter.
The fee for adoption for a Lion Springs Doodle is $3000. This is broken into a $500 non-refundable deposit towards the adoption fee of the puppy, and $2500 the day your puppy goes home with you.
